The disgraced MSP Tommy Sheridan has been freed from prison after serving just over a third of his three year sentence for perjury. In other news: the Labour leader Ed Miliband has said that the electoral commission and not the Scottish Government should draft the question to be put to voters in the independence referendum; Hollywood movies and other broadcasting projects generated £20 million for Glasgow's economy last year; and in sport, Steven Pressley could be in trouble with the SFA after coming on to the pitch at half time during Falkirk's match with Celtic.
